The Palestinian Relief Committee researches mechanisms to follow up displacement conditions in camps and gatherings

The Palestinian Relief Committee in Lebanon discussed the displacement conditions in Palestinian camps and_gatherings, and mechanisms of follow-up and_coordination inlight of current field andhumanitarian developments.
This came during an expanded meeting held at the headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Beirut, in the framework of follow-up carried by by Mr. Yasser Abbas, representative The Special Chairman and Member of the Supreme Palestinian Committee to Follow Up Lebanon Affairs, chaired by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Lebanon. Dr. Muhammad Al-Asaad, in his capacity as Chairman of the Relief Committee, alongside representatives of the factions of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the Department of Refugee Affairs. And the popular committees, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the Palestinian security services, a number of concerned cadres in the embassy.
The meeting discussed the field developments related to the displacement movement among the members of our Palestinian people in Lebanon, in light of the current security conditions, and discussed. Rather, strengthening coordination among the various Palestinian frameworks participation in the committee, which helps to keep up with emergency humanitarian needs according to available capabilities.
The attendees stressed the importance of unifying the efforts within the framework of the committee, and activating the joint work mechanisms among its various components, ensuring the best degrees of follow-up and organization in this delicate stage.
The meeting also stressed the necessity of working according to an updated data base and clear mechanisms for follow-up and monitoring, which would help determine humanitarian priorities for the most affected families, especially in light of the limited capabilities and breadth of the size of the needs.
The attendees stressed the importance of continuing coordination with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, UNRWA, as the primary international body concerned with refugees. the Palestinians, in addition to continuing communication with the competent Lebanese agencies, to contribute to alleviating the humanitarian burdens resulting from the displacement movement.
At the end of the meeting, it was confirmed that this file will remain in the daily and direct follow-up circle, based on national responsibility. For the sake of the sons of our Palestinian people in Lebanon, and in a way that enhances the joint work between the components of the committee to keep pace with developments according to what is available of capabilities.
