A statement from UNRWA regarding the distribution of cash aid to Palestine refugees within the agency's emergency response.

عطفا على الإعلان الصادر بتاريخ 18 آذار/مارس 2026، تودّ الأونروا إبلاغ لاجئي فلسطين في لبنان بأن توزيع المساعدات النقدية سيبدأ على النحو التالي:
 
▪️     المساعدات النقدية للاجئي فلسطين من سوريا  في لبنان : يبدأ التوزيع يوم الخميس 2 نيسان/أبريل 2026. سيحصل المستحقون على 50 دولارًا أمريكيًا للشخص و120 دولارًا أمريكيًا للعائلة.

▪️     cash aid for eligible children of Palestine refugees in Lebanon, who are age between 0 10 years : begins the Distribution starting from the middle of next week. Eligible refugees will receive 50 $  American for each eligible child from this category.
 
The aid will be disbursed through OMT offices in payments, and the beneficiaries will be notified by short text message . Please note that OMT will not disburse any assistance before receiving the text message.
 
This assistance is part of UNRWA's emergency response. The Agency continues to befully_engaged, in_coordination with its partners, in the response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

UNRWA has launched an emergency appeal, through which it is urgently seeking to secure US$12.3 million to fund priority response activities that address urgent needs in Lebanon over the next 90 days.
